Let our curated collection of treats be delivered right to your door, then join culinary host James Sokol for the second event in our special trio-series of tastings - Bubbles & Bites – each featuring a different sparkling wine from an award-winning vintner and a perfect food pairing.
Join in one, two or all three tastings. Order only the "bubbles," only the "bites," or both -- whatever strikes your fancy! Other Bubble & Bites tasting events take place on February 14th (sparkling, cherries & chocolates) & March 7th (sparkling & chips).
Background on the “Bubbles”
In 1965, on a historic California property, the Schramsberg winery was revived and began producing world-class sparkling wines, launched with their signature Blanc de Blancs – the first commercial use of Chardonnay in American sparkling wine. Meet Schramsberg’s Wine Educator Tom Scott and enjoy a tasting of their Blanc de Blancs as Tom explains its signature characteristics and various pairing options.
Background on the “Bites”
Stepladder farm & creamery makes small-batch cheeses with milk from its herd of LaMancha goats and from cow's milk sourced locally from the dairy science program at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. The result is delicious, world-class cheeses made in a healthy, sustainable environment for their animals. Meet Herd Assistant Whitney Buswell to learn about the farm & creamery and enjoy a guided tasting of six of their aged cheeses. A special guest from Stepladder will join us as well.
