Chilean Wine offers some of the best value quality wine on sale in Britain and Chile has been described as the perfect place to make wine. It has a wide variety of climates from the cool, maritime Casablanca Valley perfect for making delicious, crisp Sauvignon Blanc to the warmer interior for ripe reds From Cabernet and Merlot. It also has its own grape variety, originating in Bordeaux called Carmenere. I recommend buying in advance: 1 bottle of Chardonnay from Casablanca, Limari or Leyda Valley, 1 bottle of red Carmenere from the Central Valleys and 1 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Central valleys. We will send you a list of wines from popular suppliers or ask your local wine merchant. Nearer to the date we'll send a list of suggested nibbles to have on the night.
