Vineyard Description
The Chet & Waveney Valley Vineyard began life as a traditional farm; the tasting rooms originally stabled the horses of Fred Hemmant, a well-known horseman and connoisseur of stirrup cups. The vineyard is located in the Chet valley in Bergh Apton, situated close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. John, the winemaker, and his wife Bridget are growing several different types of grapes, that are used for making premium award winning English Sparkling wines. John personally runs tours of the family run vineyard and winery with tastings of his Chet Valley wines with local Norfolk cheese and charcuterie.
