When Rita Tua and her late husband Virgilio bought a property in southern Tuscany in 1984, they could have never anticipated that they would end up heading the second generation of Super Tuscans. Today, Stefano Frascolla and his wife Simena, Ritas daughter, are at the helm of the estate, crafting wines that are now more elegant and refined than ever. The proximity to the sea, a unique clay-based soil from the metalliferous hills of the Val di Cornia and pioneering spirit make Tua Rita a true gem of Italian winemaking.
