The red wines of the Southern Rhône need no introduction, but what of their white siblings? These too carry the famous appellation names, and are every bit as worthy of those hallowed titles, even though their Northern counterparts have somewhat stolen the limelight. However, change is afoot and those in the know realise that a degree of obscurity offers great rewards; these wines are incredibly good value for money. Furthermore they offer terrific drinking excitement, wide gastronomic opportunity and age astonishingly well.
