After 10 years working as a hairdresser in some of the top salons in Melbourne Jane Eyre wanted a change. Very quickly she worked out that she was interested in wine and wanted to make it. One of her clients was married to an Australian wine journalist and were able to put her in contact with some friends of theirs in Burgundy. Her first vintage was in 1998 and she kept travelling back to Burgundy for vintage, and finally made a permanent move to Burgundy in 2004. Along the way she was lucky to work for many of todays great winemakers, Vanya Cullen (Cullen wines Margaret River, Clive Paton (Ata Rangi), Blair Walter (Felton Road), Dominique Lafon (Comtes Lafon), Fredérique Mugnier (Domaine Jacques Frederique Mugnier) to name a few.
