The Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans have left us a legacy of cultural appreciation of wine that is going through an exciting rebirth at present. Sailing from Sicily, via Greece, Aegean Turkey, and onwards to Cyprus, Lebanon and Israel, Demetri Walters MW will seek to unearth the origins and vitality of the cradle of European wine culture. In so doing, this vinous journey will highlight the exciting resurgence of some of the regions most ancient native red grapes.
