Join other wine lovers as we Travel Through the Glass to Oregon with Vin Social’s Founder & Certified Sommelier, Sara Moll and Teutonic’s Winemaker, Barnaby Tuttle.
Together we’ll learn about a unique wine culture and hear from the passionate winemaker via a high-touch and interactive virtual wine experience.
It all started in 2002 when Barnaby, a native Portlander, was the wine buyer at Papa Haydn Restaurant in Portland. German wine importer Ewald Moseler, showed him 14 different Rieslings from Germany’s famed Mosel wine region. Barnaby bought all 14 and started one of the largest German wine lists in Portland and became obsessed with esoteric, cool-climate wines. That same night he told his wife that he needed to learn how to make wines that are as expressive of terroir as these German Rieslings were.
If you aren’t a member already, don’t forget to grab a bottle of the Teutonic Pinot Meunier before the event so we can taste together!
Vin Social is donating 10% of profits from all sales of Oregon wines this season to wildfire relief in the Pacific Northwest.
