Background on the “Bubbles”
In 1965, on a historic California property, the Schramsberg winery was revived and began producing world-class sparkling wines, launched with their signature Blanc de Blancs – the first commercial use of Chardonnay in American sparkling wine. Meet Schramsberg’s Wine Educator Tom Scott and enjoy a tasting of their Blanc de Noirs as Tom explains its signature characteristics and various pairing options.
Background on the “Bites”
In 2002, certified executive chef Brian Roth opened St. Louis' first gastro-pub, The Billy Goat Restaurant & Bar where, from day one, potato chips were served. Quickly becoming a signature item, the potato chips’ popularity demanded special attention and guided Brian on the path to opening The Billy Goat Chip Company in 2009. He compares the team's commitment to quality to the stubbornness of a billy goat, which is needed to make “simply the best chip you’ll ever have!” Meet this chef who will discuss his journey and lead a guided chip tasting.
