Join wine writer Kevin Day for a deep dive on Prosecco: how its made, and more importantly, where the best ones come from.
Much maligned by wine snobs — but adored by Pretty Much Everyone Else — Prosecco is one of Italy's most misunderstood wines. Learn about how this wine differs from other sparkling wines, and explore the absurdly steep hills where the best versions come from in this virtual tasting.
I will provide a list of recommended wineries upon registration. Plan on a wine budget of $75-$100 for this class. One ticket is good for a single log-in (so no need to buy two tickets if you are a couple). We'll be focused on:
1 Prosecco Superiore DOCG (from Conegliano-Valdobbiadene or Asolo)
1 Rive (named vineyard) Prosecco from Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG
1 Cartizze DOCG
