It's time to get seriously high! No. Not like that...
We explore how grapes can be grown in some of the most extreme places on the planet – way up mountains where the air is thin, the nights are freezing, the sun is scorching and there can be very little rain.
All of these elements individually can change the wines immensely. Together, it's massively important. But how and why? We go to some of the highest vineyards in the world and talk to their winemakers to find out more.
One of the places we visit is the incredible Uco Valley in Mendoza. We check out wines made at three different heights by the same winemaker to see the effect.
