    Vineyard Description

    Ryedale Vineyards is a family business owned and run by us at Westow just outside of Malton, North Yorkshire at the foot of the North Yorkshire Wolds. The vineyard was planted in 2006 with a second site at Howsham established in 2008.

    We are currently the most northerly commercial vineyard in Britain. We produce delicious wines that have won awards annually since our wines were first introduced. We produce red, white, rosé and sparkling wines plus cider and apple juice. The vineyard farmhouse is also a small B&B.

    Tours and Tastings

    Tour & Tasting Experience

    Ryedale Vineyards offer an informal and informative tour and wine tasting which allows visitors to look around the vineyard and winery and sample our wines.

    ​

    £10 per person, the tours run weekends at 3pm from Easter until the end of October, dates with availability are shown in the drop down list on the booking form.

    2019 tours are now fully booked

    2020 dates will be added in the New Year

    Tours include:

    • Guided tour with one of our winemakers

    • A short vineyard walk

    • Wine tasting with local cheeses

    ​Please note, dogs are not permitted in the vineyard, please do not leave your dog in the car. We politely ask that you do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your tour as we are a working vineyard and facilities are limited. We ask that you allow 2 hours for your tour.
