Vineyard Description
New Lodge Vineyard was created by Joyce Boulos-Hanna
in 2000, before planting a vineyard became as fashionable
as it is today. She was ahead of her time, and an inspiration
to those that follow in her footsteps.
This small boutique vineyard is situated on the outskirts of
Earls Barton, on a picturesque, southwest facing slope,
overlooking the Nene Valley. Its location is very near to one
of the oldest recorded vineyards of Roman times.
It was established on horse paddocks, providing a lush
fertile land of crumbly well drained loam over ironstone and
planted with six red and white grape varieties.
