Vineyard Description

Limeburn Hill Vineyard is a small artisan vineyard near Chew Magna on the edge of Bristol. It is the only biodynamic vineyard in the south west of England, and one of only 4 in the UK. Perched on a sunny south-facing slope overlooking the Chew Valley the vineyard was hand-planted with 1800 vines in 2015. Six varieties of grapes are grown – three red and three white – from which a variety of natural wines are produced.

Our wines are certified as organic and biodynamic and we make them ourselves entirely from our own grapes. We produce Pétillant Naturel wines (naturally sparkling white, rosé & red) as well as experiments in still Amber wines (skin-macerated whites) and Red wines. All of our wines are vegan.

Please come and visit us to take a guided tour, learn more about how we manage the vineyard in line with nature, and taste our very special wines. More details and bookings available on our tours, tastings and events page.
