Vineyard Description

Dunleavy Vineyard is located in the heart of the beautiful Chew Valley in Somerset, just outside Bristol. Combining passion, sustainable agricultural practices and the latest viticultural techniques, we produce multi-award winning rosé wine from our Pinot noir and Seyval blanc grapes.

Dunleavy Vineyards were planted by owner and manager Ingrid Bates. Ingrid has a background in biology and, after a short stint working in the media, began her viticultural career 10 years ago when she took up a job maintaining a local vineyard. Having found her true vocation, she began planning and saving and finally planted her own vineyard in 2008.

Tours and Tastings

We are now able to offer group visits by appointment!
Come and meet Ingrid, see the vines that produce Dunleavy’s award winning wine, and hear the story of how the vineyard came to be. After seeing the vineyard, visitors can walk 50 metres across the site to the beautiful wooden barn of the Somerset Flower Farm with its café and see the local artist’s studios. They can taste a free sample of the Dunleavy wine and relax in the fully licensed flower farm cafe.
Amy Shiner and furniture designer Martin Tochia are the local artists on site – they may not be there every day so check ahead if you would like to visit them.
Tours must be booked in advance. They are flexible and can be discussed by calling 07779085420 or by email.
