Downsview Vineyard

Downsview Vineyard and Orchard is a small family run business owned and managed by Cathy and Jim Brown in the Weald of Sussex between Hadlow Down and Crowborough. The Vineyard was planted in 2010 with further plantings in 2011 and 2013. The varieties we chose were Bacchus, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. There is also an orchard with a wide variety of native English fruit trees.

We are passionate about making quality still and sparkling wines and ciders in this beautiful part of the world, and all our wines have their own unique character. For us the vineyard is not just a business but a way of life that brings us closer to nature and reminds us that hard work is good for the soul.
