Vineyard Description

Our vineyards are planted on the family farm on gentle south facing slopes atop of 90 meters of chalk where our topsoil is shallow and free draining. Combined, these attributes are perfect for top grapevine varieties to express a sense of place or "terroir".

Planting well known classic varieties such as chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier will allow us to produce excellent quality wines form our site in our marginal cool climate. These varieties have proven themselves on the international stage in our burgeoning English wine industry from all over the country.

Bluestone vineyards now stands at 10 acres under vine on our existing 42 acre farm where we operate a number of other family orientated attractions. The vineyard and wine diversification compliments our ethos and values of family, friends and quality time; find yours with us.
