Two of the best red grapes are Nebbiolo and Nerello Mascalese
Nebbiolo thrives in Piedmont and is the reknowned for producing Barolo and Barbaresco . Barbaresco is often over-looked - referred to as the Queen of Italian reds we will show 2 beautiful examples of this very characterful and impressive region.
Nerello Mascalese is a firm favourite in the 2 islands of Sicily and Sardinia and one of the most important varietals to have emerged on to the UK market over the past 5 years.
Join us for this informative tasting where we will open some top wines made from vineyards in best known locations for these 2 wonderful wines.
We will welcome you with a reception drink of top sparkling wine, followed by a tasting of 4 fine wines accompanied by award winning extra virgin olive oil, artisan bread, cured meats and seasonal cheeses.
