Looked over by Mount Etna, Sicily is an island with incredible history and ancient wine making traditions. But it's also the region in Italy that's commanding most attention for its modern day evolution & unbelievably delicious wines that are now emerging from this volcanic landscape.
Indigenous grapes such as Nerello Mascalese grow alongside international varieties, like Chardonnay and illustrate the diversity this island has to offer. Given it's warm location, the wines also show wonderful vibrancy & acidity which is one the the key elements that's making the rest of the world sit up & listen: indigenous grapes, wonderful terroir & wines with freshness & longevity - it's now hard to see why it's an exiciting time to be a winemaker in Sicily!
Join us as we select 6 wines to showcase the terroir of Sicily & the talent of it's winemakers.
