Join us for an introductory look at the wonderfully diverse and quirky world of wine. This evening tasting is perfect for those to new to wine and want to understand which wines they like and why.
You will taste at least six delicious wines from around the world and we'll provide lots of helpful tips to help enhance your enjoyment of wine. By the end of the evening you will know:
How to sip, swirl and sniff like a professional
How to identify aromas and flavours in wine
How wine is made
About the influence of climate on wine
What the influence of oak ageing and other wine-making techniques has on wine
What foods pair well with the wines you have tasted
Where to find good wines
But most importantly you'll be able to find the wines you like more easily in wine shops and on restaurant wine lists.
Professional ISO tasting glasses, all tasting materials including tasting sheets & table water and water biscuits are provided.
