The Douro Valley in Portugal has an extensive wine history making one of the finest fortified wines in the world - Port!
A huge favourite on any celebratory table, this stunning wine comes in many guises from surprisngly refreshing white Ports, to soft, mellow Tawny Ports & classic, long-lived Vintage Ports.
Join us as we 'travel' down the river tasting six classic Ports as we delve into this maigcal region. Each Port will paired with a delicious cheese that will bring out the best in both the food & the wine.
We'll taste six wines which may include:
A white Port
An aged Tawny Port
LBV Ruby Port
an aged Vintage Port
A single estate vintage port.
A colheita Port
Your tasting will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected Ports, tasting samples of six cheeses, full handouts and wine notes.
