Overview
The second book from Wink Lorch, published last summer, Wines of the French Alps, turns the spotlight onto the scattered vineyards of Savoie and its neighbouring Alpine regions, including Bugey. The vineyards are often sited on challenging steep slopes with highly varied mountain terroir, which allows for a huge range of grape varieties to be grown, many unique to the Alpine regions.
