OVID Napa Valley – Exploration of Pritchard Hill through Experimentation

Over the course of the hour, Winemaker Austin Peterson and Managing Partner Jack Bittner will share the philosophy behind OVID and taste through its Experiment series and OVID Napa Valley. With each Experiment series wine, Austin and team test something new to learn, continuously improving and deepening their expertise on the special site, known as Prichard Hill. They conduct formal experiments to investigate specific topics and participate in a number of applied studies as well. What is discovered during this process informs Austin’s decisions in the vineyard and in the cellar. Even more exciting, these are the only wines of their kind.
