Hailed as one of the best and most atypical Burgundian estates back in its heyday in the 70s and 80s, Edouard Delaunay had to be sold after falling on hard times in the 1990s. But Edouard Delaunay’s Great Grandson, Laurent, who’d spend years perfecting his wine making skills creating high quality wines in the Languedoc – some of them latterly in the Burgundian style – had always had a longing to return to his birthplace and make his own Burgundian wines.
