Elaine and Jason discuss Tablas Creek’s work bringing Rhône varietals to California and the importance of blending at Tablas Creek and across Paso Robles. Joining the conversation is special guest Bob Lindquist, who since 1982 has specialized in Rhône-style wines from the Central Coast including Bien Nacido Vineyard and the Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard in the Edna Valley.

Jason is the second-generation proprietor of Tablas Creek and son of Vineyard Brands founder (and Tablas Creek co-founder) Robert Haas; he grew up in the wine business, including spending two summers working at Château de Beaucastel. Jason moved to California to join Tablas Creek in April of 2002, where he oversees the business, wine making, and sales and marketing. In addition to his work at Tablas Creek, Jason is President of the Rhône Rangers board of directors, past Chairman of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, a board member of Free the Grapes, and a prolific writer for the Tablas Creek blog and top wine trade publications.
