As summer approaches, whether were still in lockdown or not, its a great time to revisit the lighter reds of the previously much-maligned region of Beaujolais. Anne McHale MW carried out research into the regions prospects for recovering from its Beaujolais Nouveau hangover for her Master of Wine dissertation in 2013. In tonights session she will present the key findings of her research, including how the image of Beaujolais has evolved since then, and will also refresh your memory on the regions key styles and terroirs.
