2018 has been declared another fabulous vintage for Port, with some producers choosing to declare a classic vintage whilst others opted instead to declare their best single-vineyard wines.
The Society will shortly be bringing out an en primeur offer of three 2018 Vintage Ports from Quinta do Noval, Dow's Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira, and Quinta do Vesuvio and so this virtual event presents the perfect opportunity to find out more about these three wines and estates.
Following an introduction to the 2018 vintage from Society buyer for Portugal, Jo Locke MW, Christian Seely of Quinta do Noval and Dominic Symington of Symington Family Estates will each introduce their vineyards, their wines and what made the 2018 vintage so interesting and so special.
We are (sadly!) not in a position to have these specific wines available to taste, but we do encourage you to pour yourself a glass of Port or Portuguese wine and join us for a sneak preview of the Port 2018 vintage.
