Torres Natureo has done for rosé what their Muscat did for white wine — proved it can actually be done properly. The Syrah Rosé is made from Syrah grapes in Penedès, fermented fully then dealcoholised using spinning cone technology to preserve aroma and flavour. The result is pale salmon pink, off-dry with red fruit and floral notes, and a freshness that holds up well over ice. It doesn't have the body of an alcoholic rosé but it's a world away from the thin, sweet approximations that most nolo rosés fall into. At 0.5% ABV, widely available, and brilliant on a summer afternoon.
