Lucky Saint is the reason people started taking nolo beer seriously. Brewed properly in Germany then dealcoholised using vacuum distillation — a process that removes alcohol at lower temperatures to preserve flavour — it tastes like it was made to be drunk, not made to be inoffensive. Light malt, a touch of bitterness, no weird aftertaste. The hazy pour and frothy head don't hurt either. At 53 calories and 0.5% ABV it's also the easiest sell to anyone still on the fence about nolo. Widely available in supermarkets and increasingly on tap in pubs. "If someone tells you alcohol-free beer is rubbish, hand them one of these and say nothing. "
