Caleño was founded by Ellie Webb, inspired by the vibrant drinking culture of Cali, Colombia, and that energy comes through in the bottle. Dark & Spicy is their deeper, more complex expression — pineapple, coconut, orange peel, warming ginger — it's got the tropical character of a dark rum without being a pale imitation of one. Mix it with ginger beer and it's sensational. Use it in a nolo Dark & Stormy and it's legitimately convincing. At £18-20 it's also significantly cheaper than most premium nolo spirits, making it one of the better value options in the category. The sort of bottle you'll actually finish.
