Feragaia (Gaelic for 'wild land') is made in the Scottish Lowlands from 14 botanicals including locally foraged serrated wrack seaweed, bay leaf, chamomile and lemon verbena. It's a proper distilled spirit, not a flavoured water, and the complexity shows. Earthy and warming on the nose, clean and herbal on the palate with a gentle spiced finish. Works well with premium soda, even better with ginger ale. It doesn't try to be anything other than what it is — a sophisticated botanical spirit that happens to have no alcohol. One of the most credible nolo spirits in the UK, and one that serious bars are actually stocking.
"Scotland's answer to Seedlip — and arguably more interesting. "
